“Open Doors Day” was held
The concern for the modern upbringing and educating the younger generation is one of the priorities of the state policy in our country. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, large-scale and important work is being carried out to educate our future youth, to learn a profession, to be physically and spiritually healthy and to become loyal man to the Motherland, the people and the traditions of our brave ancestors.
According to the annual tradition, on May 14, 2025, in the International Year of Peace and Trust “Open Doors Day” was held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages for the graduates of the 2024-2025 academic year and youth wishing to enter higher educational establishments.
The 12th-grade pupils from comprehensive secondary schools of Ashgabat city actively participated in the event organized with the aim of guiding the youth to the future careers and widely introducing them to educational, scientific, cultural, and sport activities held in the higher educational establishment.
The “Open Doors Day” was filled with a festive spirit, accompanied by lively songs, dances, and performances in foreign languages by the creative group of the "Altyn miras" cultural center of our higher educational establishment.
The participants of the “Open Doors Day” got acquainted with the institute and were provided with detailed information about the faculties, departments, the activities of the first “Languages of Peace” UNESCO Club in our country functioning at the institute, the way of teaching foreign languages using the modern opportunities of digital education, the way of holding of the International Olympiads among the students of the higher educational establishments in our country and abroad, the modern simultaneous translation, the classrooms and video rooms equipped with computers and language laboratories. The excursion to the academic buildings, classrooms, museum and library of the institute was organized for the future entrants. Then, in the main building of our institute, the school pupils got acquainted with books, booklets, souvenirs, decorative works related to the professional languages taught at our higher educational establishment and exhibition reflecting the success of our students achieved in our country and abroad.
Conditions created for our students in our higher educational establishment and achievements made a great impression on the school pupils and their interest in our institute increased.
