The theme of the I round of English Language Olympiad

Requirements for the first round of the III Olympiad in English among students of XI-XII grades of secondary schools of Turkmenistan by the Dovletmamet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages

1. Each participant should write an essay in English on the given topic;

2. The essay must be written by each participant individually;

3. The essay must not have been published anywhere before and must not have been copied from anywhere; if used from the work of other authors, references should be noted;

4. It is forbidden to use artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Gemini, GPTalk...) when writing an essay;

5. The word count of the essay should not be less than 400 words and not more than 500 words (the title of the essay is not included in the word count);

6. The text should be written in Times New Roman font, 14 pt size, adjusted to the width of the page and saved in .doc, .docx format;

7. The name of the file should be saved as participant's registration number and participant's last name (250000 Amanova);

8. The participant is given 180 minutes (3 hours) to write an essay and send it to the Organizing Committee for consideration;

9. Essays should be sent to inlismekdepolimpiada@gmail.com for review by the Organizing Committee by 17:00 on February 17, 2025;

10. Works that are late or do not meet the specified conditions will not be accepted for the competition.
