The Turkmen-Korean friendship which strengthens increasingly
Our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar creates all the opportunities for active cooperation with the countries of the world in various fields. Our Independent, eternally Neutral Turkmenistan considers the Republic of Korea, one of the developed countries of the world, an important and reliable partner. Cooperation between the two friendly countries is based on the principles of long-term cooperation, mutual respect and equality.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, emphasizes the mutual friendly relations between the two countries by saying: "The humanitarian system is also an integral part of the Turkmen-Korean relations. Regular relations in the fields of education, science and culture have been established in this system. In this regard, the organization of various joint creative activities, the implementation of educational programs, and the development of ties between scientific centers are of great importance in both countries. Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea have the rich spiritual, material and cultural heritage, and deepening cooperation in this area helps to bring our peoples closer together and strengthen friendly ties between them”.
On October 9, 2024, the solemn competition-type ceremony held at our higher education institution on the occasion of the creation of the Korean national alphabet with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan Mr. Ji Jyu-Taek and representatives of the embassy is a symbol of the ever-increasing development of Turkmen-Korean friendship. Students of the Korean language faculty took an active part in the event. A reading competition in Korean was also held as part of the ceremony. It was attended by 10 students who won the competition among students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of the Korean language. They recited poems by famous Korean poets. The students who won prizes in the competition were awarded certificates of honor and gifts by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan.
