Scientific and educational cooperation with foreign higher educational institutions is being intensified
Within the framework of the international exhibition and scientific conference “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Epoch of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State”, which will be held in Ashgabat from October 10 to 12, 2025, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages will host a wide range of events, educational and methodological sessions, meetings, and methodological conferences with the participation of representatives of partner higher educational institutions.
First of all, it is worth noting the Korean writing competition held during the visit of Mr. Lee Min Heen, Director of the Global Talent Network Center of Kangwon National University of the Republic of Korea, who arrived in our country to participate in an international exhibition and scientific conference, within the framework of the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Science and Education between Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University of the Republic of Korea.” The Korean writing competition was held among students of the pedagogical education (Korean language, Turkmen language and literature) field of study of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Literature of our higher educational institution, students of the King Sejong Korean Language Center in Ashgabat, and students of the secondary school No. 88 specialized in-depth study of foreign languages in Ashgabat. This competition is being held for the first time in Turkmenistan.
The main goal of the Korean writing competition is to improve the correct writing skills of Korean language learners and their ability to speak Korean fluently, as well as to develop scientific and educational cooperation between Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University. The competition consisted of 2 rounds, and in the 1st round, the participants competed in writing essays on given topics in Korean. In accordance with the terms of the competition, those who excelled in the meaning and grammatical features of their written essays advanced to the 2nd round of the competition. In the 2nd round, the participants competed in reciting the essays by heart.
According to the results of the competition, Nuray Meredova, the 3rd year student of the Pedagogical Education (Korean, Turkmen and Literature) field of study of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Literature of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, took 1st place, Selbiniyaz Ataniyazova, the 1st year student of the Pedagogical Education (Korean, Turkmen and Literature) field of study of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Literature of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, and Gulnabat Atayeva, the student of the King Sejong Korean Language Center in Ashgabat, took 2nd place, and Meylis Islimov and Olga Permanova, students of the King Sejong Korean Language Center in Ashgabat, took 3rd place.
The winners of the competition were awarded a joint Certificate of Honor from Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University, Republic of Korea, as well as commemorative gifts.
In addition, Johanna Mierendorff, Professor of Preschool Education and Senator of the Academic Senate of the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, Federal Republic of Germany, held a methodological seminar for German language teachers at the institute. During the methodological seminar, Professor Johanna Mierendorff gave her methodological advice on the stages of child development, the study of social pedagogy, the importance of inventing methods and techniques for achieving the harmonious development of the child and family and educating the younger generation, and the importance of organizing educational and educationally interesting events in libraries so that children can effectively spend their free time outside of school. This methodological seminar was very effective for German language teachers of our institute.
The international exhibition and scientific conference “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Epoch of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State”, as well as the various events held within its framework at Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, provide an opportunity to develop international cooperation and exchange advanced experiences in the field of science and education, clearly demonstrating the steady development of the path of development of Turkmenistan Epoch of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State.
