Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science and education was signed between Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University.
Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea are cooperating effectively in multilateral arenas. Interstate relations are consistently developed on the basis of mutual respect, mutual understanding, and trust. Active cooperation is being carried out in various fields, including science and education. In this regard, the implementation of joint educational programs in both countries and the development of relations between scientific centers play an important role.
On June 25, 2025, the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of science and education was signed between Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University. This important event was held in a highly organized manner in the form of a video conference.
The signed document is another important stage in cooperation in the field of education between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea, the main goal of which is to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the Parties in the field of education and science.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the Parties reached an understanding to cooperate in such areas as exchanging mutual experience and documents in order to ensure the high quality of educational programs, developing and implementing joint educational and scientific programs in the field of education, sending students, teachers and research workers of the Parties to partner higher educational institutions within the framework of international academic exchange, and conducting joint scientific research in order to improve education, professional development, and scientific and educational activities.
This Memorandum paves the way not only for the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, but also for the development of international scientific relations.
