"Artificial intelligence" is a perfect product of the human mind

   The media competition "The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Learning Languages" was held among students at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages on the occasion of "Global Media and Information Literacy Week" adopted by the United Nations and its specialized agencies. 

 Young talented linguists, who participated eagerly in the project competition held by first in the country  UNESCO Club "Languages of Peace", with the help of their creativity, brilliant ideas and artificial intelligence, have presented original, unique and at the same time highly effective projects on language teaching tasks which meet the modern standards of teaching world languages and suitable for people of all ages.

 Since 2021 Global Media and Information Literacy Week”, which brings together the world's young talents and scholars, serves as a great platform for interested parties from all around the world on exchanging ideas and exploring innovative ways of improving media and information literacy. 

 This year's theme for the week is “The New Digital Frontiers of Information: Media and Information Literacy for Public-Interest Information”. It explores the changing impact of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and the next generation of digital content creators on production and dissemination of  information for the benefit of society, highlighting their opportunities and risks.

 Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2024 makes adapting to the rapidly changing digital landscape a critical issue, giving users the skills they need to identify and evaluate information of interest online.

 Therefore, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages announced a media week with young linguists and young scientists highlighting the importance of artificial intelligence in teaching languages.  Young linguists, active members of the Institute's Center for Young Scientists and UNESCO Club "Languages of Peace" took part in it with their own media information and the platform processed with the help of artificial intelligence.  The participants of the competition gave a brief description of their invention in our mother tongue and speciality language and explained its full content to the participants of the media week.  The winner of the competition received a certificate and a souvenir from the Secretariat of the National Committee of Turkmenistan on UNESCO. 

 Young linguists who participated in the media week expressed their sincere appreciation to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Scientist Arkadag and to our Highly Honoured President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for the efforts they make and for the great opportunities they create to engage in creative work and to learn world languages through advanced technologies in Independent and Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan.
