XVII Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of CIS member states

 The XVII Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of CIS Member States, which brung together about 200 representatives of the Commonwealth of Nations, was held on September 17-19, 2024, in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation.  The Turkmen delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. 

 The theme of the XVII Forum was "Commonwealth of Independent States: Common Values and Cultural Diversity".  The plan of cooperation, taking into account modern realities and defined priority directions and forms of work were discussed there.

 Various aspects of professional interaction in science, education and art: new formats of cooperation in the educational sphere, volunteering as a resource for the development of society, integration processes in the formation of intercultural dialogue were discussed in plenary sessions and in profile sections.

 As part of the cultural program of the Forum, a traditional performance of the youth symphony orchestra of the CIS took place, which this year pleased the guests with a joint concert with the participation of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Rasul Klychev.

 The forum ended with the adoption of a resolution, in which the participants of the event summarized the results of joint work and formulated tasks for the near future.

 The initiator of the organization of the forum is the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member states.  It should be noted that since 2006, the forum has been held alternately in the capitals of the Commonwealth of Nations and is the largest annual humanitarian event in the CIS.  The city of Ufa hosted the Forum for the first time.  The results of the past year were summarized, the plan of joint actions was discussed, recommendations on the most pressing issues of interaction in the field of science, education, culture, information, tourism, sports, work with youth were developed on his platforms.
