Our national traditions inherited from our forefathers are of particular importance in raising young generations in the national spirit.  

 The event "The example of the elderly - the principle of a meaningful life", held at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, held on October 1, 2024 on the occasion of the International Day of Elders, declared by the General Assembly of the United Nations as an important day celebrating the noble humanitarian principles of mankind and honouring one of the noble principles of our people - respecting elders, receiving blessings from our dear mothers, became a clear witness of this.  Our elders, who are the decoration of our homes, weddings and society, and an inexhaustible source of in intelligence and wisdom, were praised in the speeches and songs.

As can be seen from the sayings of "The elderly is the pillar of the house", "The young man is good in the fight, the elderly is good in the council", "The son is young when there is father, the younger brother is young when there is the elder", "If the father is pleased - God is pleased. If the mother is pleased- Prophet is pleased", which are the expression of the ancient Turkmen principles, the exhortations of our elders with rich life experience to work creatively for the sake of our current and future success of the Independent, Permanently Neutral Motherland, kindness, patriotism and humanitarianism strengthen our unity and strength. 

 We heartily congratulate our Hero-Arkadag and our Esteemed President, who implement important undertakings for the elderly generation along with the state policy on youth, and our beloved people with the International Day of the Elderly.  May the school of wisdom of the honoured elders continue!

 May the health of our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who highly appreciate elderly generation, be sound, may their advantageous for the nation and the country work always prosper!
