The Bright Example of the Benevolent Relations

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag and our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar great work is being carried out to develop mutual trust, understanding and cooperation between Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China. The People’s Republic of China, which was the first among world countries to establish diplomatic relations with Independent Turkmenistan is currently one of the main economic partners of our country.

          From May 21 to 25, 2025, the Turkmen delegation is participating in “The Industrial, Educational, Research and Practical Cooperation along the Silk Road – 2025” International conference organized by Department of Education of the Shaanхi Province, the People’s Republic of China. The delegation includes the instructors from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for Humanities and Development, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute and the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.  

          The instructor of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages G.Rejepova made a speech on behalf of the Turkmen delegation at the International conference. In her speech, she emphasized that Turkmenistan and People’s Republic of China are currently carrying out great work to ensure peace, security and sustainable economic growth throughout the world, are promoting global initiatives in this area and noted that the Turkmen youth are studying in various higher educational establishments of People’s Republic of China.

          The participation of the Turkmen delegation at the International Conference has a great significance. Such characteristic as to respect the national traditions, the path of ancestors and the historical monuments that were witness of those paths, to preserve them for the future generations and to continue the ancient principles in a dignified manner can be attributed both the Turkmen and Chinese peoples. Because the notion such as “He who doesn’t have past, doesn’t have a future” has been firmly established as one of the principles of life in China for millennia. The location of Turkmenistan at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, West and East, as our Hero-Arkadag poetically describes it “In the Heart of the Great Silk Road” has brought the Turkmen and Chinese peoples closer in various ways over the centuries, whose relations began with mutual respect.

          We would like to wish the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar who are implementing global initiatives to enrich the time-tested Turkmen and Chinese cooperation with the new meaning and to further strengthen friendly, mutual respect, trust-based and equal Turkmen and Chinese relations.

          May the ever-growing, developing, and expanding Turkmen-Chinese tree of friendship and brotherhood spread a shadow of peace among the united nations that go back to their ancient origins!
