Results of the 3rd English Language Olympiad were summarized

The results of the 3rd English Language Olympiad held on March 29, 2025 at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages among pupils of 11th-12th grades of secondary schools of Turkmenistan were summarized.

In this Olympiad, which was held in two stages, nearly 2,000 schoolchildren from our country actively participated and competed in writing essays in English on the topic "Peace begins with us." In the second stage, pupils who successfully passed the first stage competed in reading, listening, and comprehension tasks, which included tasks from all parts of the English language, and demonstrated their skills.

According to the results of the Olympiad, Ayzada Jumayeva, the pupil of Mary velayat school specialized in English and humanitarian subjects, won first place; Leyli Sapargeldiyeva, the pupil of Ashgabat secondary school No. 97 specialized in in-depth study of language subjects, and Davut Kurrayev, the pupil of Balkan velayat,  Gyzylarbat etrap secondary school No. 27, won second place; and Gulguncha Ruslanova, the pupil of Dashoguz velayat, Dashoguz city specialized secondary school No. 10, Aysoltan Annakova, the pupil of Mary velayat Yoloten etrap secondary school No. 40, and Timur Kazimov, the pupil of Ashgabat secondary school No. 51, won third place.

The winners of the 3rd English Language Olympiad were awarded Diplomas and commemorative gifts from Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, and the teachers who prepared them and the pupils who actively participated were awarded Letters of Honor from the institute. A concert prepared by the institute's English language students added joy and excitement to the ceremony.
