The Oratory Competition in Korean language was held

Developing effective relations with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including the Republic of Korea, which occupies one of the leading positions among the developed countries of the world, is one of the priorities of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy strategy. Extensive work is being carried out to expand effective interstate relations with the Republic of Korea in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural fields, as well as in the humanitarian sphere.

On May 10, 2025, the 16th Oratory Competition in Korean language was held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. The guests of honor of the competition were Mr. Ji Kyu-Taek, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan, his family, and Embassy specialists. The ceremony began with welcoming speech by the Rector of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​and Mr. Ambassador. In his speech, Mr. Ambassador expressed gratitude to our National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and our Honorable President for their tireless efforts to enhance Turkmen-Korean cooperation.

The competition was attended by 12 students of the elementary and intermediate levels of Korean language proficiency, the winners who took the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were awarded I, II and III degree diplomas  and valuable gifts.
