International Education Conference hosted by Kangwon National University, Republic of Korea
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who continues the wise initiatives of our Hero-Arkadag, world-class work is being carried out to develop international relations at a high level. In this regard, our country is further developing effective cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, in particular in the field of education. In this regard, within the framework of scientific and educational cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in this area, the participation of Selbi Batyrova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, and Mylayym Hudaynazarova, Director of the King Sejong Korean Language Education Center in Ashgabat, in the International Education Conference, held by Kangwon National University of the Republic of Korea from November 3 to 6, 2025, testifies to the multifaceted nature of expanding humanitarian and friendly relations.
The opening ceremony of the International Education Conference was held on November 4. The ceremony began with an introductory speech by the rector of Kangwon National University, Republic of Korea. Then the floor was given to the mayor of Chungcheongnam-do, Republic of Korea.
The work of the International Education Conference continued with speeches. During the conference, the floor was given to S. Batyrova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. In her speech, she spoke in detail about Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, one of the oldest higher educational institutions of our country that trains teachers of foreign languages and translators, the structure of the institute, areas of training, the modern opportunities of digital education in an educational institution that has become a world of languages, and the favorable conditions created for students to acquire modern specialties, master theoretical knowledge, improve practical skills, master digital technologies, study new scientific doctrines, advanced research and innovative technologies, the continuous expansion of the scope of international cooperation, the continuous improvement of the methodology of teaching languages through academic exchange established on the basis of memorandums, agreements and contracts concluded with prestigious universities around the world, the improvement of the professional level of teachers, and the work carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Science and Education between Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Kangwon National University.
Also, a large exhibition organized at Kangwon National University showcased beautiful Turkmen carpets, ancient bridal jewelry, and various samples of national handicrafts. The conference participants toured the exhibition. Such international exhibitions organized in foreign countries demonstrate Turkmenistan's call for peace and trust, positively impact the country's integration into the world economy, and the activation of mutually beneficial cooperation.
