Trainings conducted within the framework of the Education Project for Improving the Quality of English Language Teaching in Central Asia (AELLCA)

Teachers of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages D.Kakalyyev and A.Hojanazarov participated in the training held in Nottingham, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, from February 7 to 14, 2026, as part of the Education Project for Improving the Quality of English Language Teaching in Central Asia (AELLCA).

During the training, the teachers got acquainted with the features of the inclusive education system implemented at Nottingham Trent University. As part of the visit, meetings were also held with professors of the university and teachers responsible for inclusive education activities. During the meetings, detailed information was obtained about the organization of inclusive education, working with students with special educational needs, as well as the work being done to ensure equal opportunities in higher education institutions.

The delegation also visited Nottingham state schools. In particular, they were introduced to the practical methods of inclusive classroom management at Carlton le Willows Academy, a secondary school belonging to the Delta Academies Trust. Teachers participated in sessions held at the school, exchanged experiences on the organization of learning in inclusive classes, methods of working with students with special needs and pedagogical support measures, and learned about the work of teachers and school leaders.

During the visit, together with professors from Nottingham Trent University, we prepared syllabi and teaching materials for inclusive lessons, which are planned to be included in the curriculum of our higher education institution for the course Methodos of Foreign Language Teaching (English language).

As a result, the working visit was of great importance in developing inclusive education, exchanging experiences and expanding cooperation. The experience gained will be widely used in the future to improve relevant curricula and improve the quality of inclusive education.
