Meeting with students
On February 17, 2025, as part of cooperation with higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, representatives of Nottingham Trent University, UK, Professor Martin Seviour and Dr. Sam Barclay, met with 3rd and 4th year students of English language specialty at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
During the fruitful meeting, Dr. Sam Barclay of Nottingham Trent University first noted with particular satisfaction the hospitable Turkmen people and unique culture of our country, and introduced the students to Nottingham Trent University in the UK, where he works. During the meeting, the guest gave the students special tasks for group work related to teaching methods in order to conduct practical testing, and based on it, students completed the tasks..
Then, Professor Martin Seviour of Nottingham Trent University held a one-on-one Q&A session with students on teaching methodology and discussed the challenges encountered in teaching foreign languages and ways to overcome them.
During the meeting, representatives of Nottingham Trent University, Professor Martin Seviour and Dr. Sam Barclay, noted with satisfaction that the students who participated in the meeting were able to freely express their opinions, and expressed their views on their excellent mastery of professional language and active participation.
At the end of the meeting, the participants sincerely wished our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar who are creating such opportunities for international cooperation and mutual exchange of experience in order to further improve our country's science and education system, sound health, long life, and the constant prosperity of their state affairs.
