Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation is on its way to achieving UNESCO's main goals
Turkmenistan is setting an example to its international partners with its success in achieving the UN's sustainable development goals, and increasing its capabilities in all areas. Due to the glorious initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and to the tireless efforts of our Honorable President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the wide-ranging international cooperation, which is expanding in scope, give a great impetus to the development of the education system as well. A clear example of this can be seen in the international cooperation of the UNESCO clubs and departments operating in the country under the leadership of the Secretariat of the National Committee of Turkmenistan on UNESCO affairs.
On the basis of the application of the Minsk State Linguistic University "Peace, Solidarity and Civic Education through learning languages" UNESCO Department, the UNESCO Clubs and Departments of the country accepted the invitation sent by the Secretariat of the National Commission on UNESCO Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to the Secretariat of the National Commission on UNESCO Affairs of Turkmenistan and participated online in the meeting from 31st of October to 1st of November.
Active members of the UNESCO Club "Languages of Peace", which was first opened in the country on the basis of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, also participated as listeners in this meeting and on the second day of the event, they discussed the educational, scientific and cultural issues of bilateral cooperation and proposals of mutual interest were approved.
This successful meeting is the the first fruit of the cooperation implemented by active participation of the Secretariat of the National Committee of Turkmenistan on UNESCO affairs, of the UNESCO Clubs and Departments and of the Turkmen delegation, which recently went on a working visit to Minsk, the Republic of Belarus, to learn about the experiences of the UNESCO Departments and Clubs of the Republic of Belarus and is one of the first results of Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation on the Turkmenistan-UNESCO way to achieve the main goals of UNESCO.
