Turkmen-Chinese humanitarian relations are being strengthened

Thanks to the successful implementation of the initiatives put forward by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, on the development of international cooperation under the leadership of our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, Turkmen-Chinese relations, which have their roots in the depths of history, are becoming an unbreakable pillar of true friendship and brotherhood. These glorious places are based on the centuries-old tradition of good neighborliness of the Turkmen people, who continue the wise teachings of our ancestors.

On the basis of the diplomatic relations established between the People's Republic of China and our country, the humanitarian sector, along with all other sectors, has become one of the priority areas of Turkmen-Chinese relations. In this sector, regular contacts have been established in the fields of education, science, and culture. In this regard, the organization of various joint creative events in both countries, the implementation of educational programs, and the encouragement of relations between scientific centers are of great importance.

Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the meeting held at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​on March 11, 2025 was attended by the rector of the higher educational institution, Mr. Chun Xingwei, rector of the Northwest University of the People's Republic of China, Ms. Zheng Huiliang, head of the International Relations Department of the Northwest University, Orazgeldi Mamedov, the 3rd year student of the Northwest University, the translator from Chinese to Turkmen, and Ms. Zhang Mini, attaché of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan. This meeting marks a new stage in the development of relations in the field of science and education between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, the idea of ​​organizing special training seminars between Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​and the Northwest University of the People's Republic of China in order to improve the professional level of teachers, as well as short-term training for teachers and students during the summer vacation period, was discussed, and a number of specific proposals were made in this regard. The fruitful meeting confirmed the readiness of the parties to develop international cooperation in the field of science and education.

At the end of the meeting, words of sincere gratitude were expressed to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who create broad opportunities for strengthening Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the field of science and education.
