THE TURKMEN AND JAPANESE COOPERATION IS ON THE WAY OF ITS RAPID DEVELOPMENT

In the era with the perspective to the great heights, under the wise leadership of our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, friendly relations between Japan, one of the leading countries in the world, and Turkmenistan are being elevated to a qualitatively new level. In particular, the development of humanitarian cooperation deserves special mention. The active cooperation established between two countries in the field of education and science has become one of the priority areas of intergovernmental relations.

In this context, the Embassy of Japan to Turkmenistan held another “Japanese Language Oratorical Contest” today at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. The contest clearly demonstrated that in our country all favourable conditions have been created for young people to receive high-quality education, engage in science, actively participate in the implementation of large-scaled programs and implement their innovative initiatives and creative ideas. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Mr. Sasaki Hiroshi and representatives of the Embassy attended the event.

In the two-stage competition, students of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan demonstrated their talents in telling stories and delivering speeches on various topics in Japanese Language. In the first stage, participants demonstrated their ability to recite the Japanese fairytale “Happiness” by heart, demonstrating their correct and accurate pronunciation in Japanese, correct use of intonation and pauses. In the second stage, they delivered a presentation based on their essays on a free topic. This stage allowed the students to fully demonstrate their language skills, thinking skills and creative approach.

The jury evaluated performances fairly based on correct pronunciation in Japanese, intonation, grammatical accuracy, richness of the content and the correct implementation of the competition. At the end of the competition, winners were solemnly awarded diplomas and keepsakes.

During the competition performances of the students of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan impressed the guests and became the reflection of love of young people for the Japanese Language.

At the end of the Oratorical Contest, heartfelt wishes were expressed to our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for carrying out great works to strengthen ommon prosperity, peace, power in the world and developing Turkmen-Japanese cooperation. They wished our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, long life and every success in all their undertakings.
