“Turkmenistan – Japan: Trust, Friendship, Cooperation” Solemn Conference was held
Turkmenistan attaches a great importance to the expansion of the cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan. The cooperation between our countries has a long-term and strategic character and is based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and trust. In this regard, a working visit of the Head of the state, our Arkadagly Hero Serdar to Japan is another main step towards further broadening bilateral cooperation.
On April 17, 2025, the “Turkmenistan-Japan: Trust, Friendship, Cooperation” solemn conference was held at Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages in order to convey our congratulations and celebrate the success of the working visit of our Esteemed President of Turkmenistan to Japan.
At the beginning of the solemn conference, a literary and musical composition was performed in the Turkmen and Japanese languages by the students of the creative group of the “Altyn miras” cultural center of our Institute. The literary and musical composition “Dreams of Centuries” was performed in the Turkmen and Japanese languages.
During the conference, the speakers emphasized that on the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar our Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan attaches a great importance to the expansion of the cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, and the cooperation between our countries has a long-term, strategic character and is based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and trust. The participants of the conference were delighted with the news that during the working visit to Japan, our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor by the University of Tsukuba for developing cooperation in the sphere of the Turkmen-Japanese education and science.
A song, which expresses the essence of the great work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag “Long Live a Peaceful Life” performed by the students of the creative group of the “Altyn miras” cultural center of our Institute in the UN official languages added a special colour to the solemn conference.
At the end of the solemn conference, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag who was promoting wise initiatives for the sake of common well-being and peace in the world and to our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar who was leading the Turkmen diplomacy along the victorious path. They wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, long life and every success in promoting high-level, important initiatives for strengthening peace around the world in the International Year of Peace and Trust.
