A webinar was held via videoconference on the topic “Historical Roots and National Characteristics of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality”
The historical roots of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality have their origins in the pages of the glorious history of the Turkmen people, stretching back thousands of years. As our Scientist Arkadag wrote with deep wisdom in his work entitled “Turkmenistan – the Place of Neutrality”, the principles of peace, harmony, and humanism of our people are currently enriched by the legal status of the state’s permanent neutrality and its strengthening.
Based on the goals set out in the “Concept of Activities and Priority Directions of Turkmenistan during the International Year of Peace and Trust”, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality and the declaration of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trsut” by the General Assembly of the United Nations, a webinar entitled “Historical Roots and National Characteristics of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality” was held via videoconference on May 15, 2025, organized by Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages together with the Beijing International Studies University of the People’s Republic of China.
