The results of the III Russian language Olympiad among the 11-12 grades pupils of the secondary schools of Turkmenistan have been summed up

The development of the lingual education system in Turkmenistan is one of the priority areas of the policy pursued by the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar. In this context, the organization of the national and international language championships by the national educational establishments acts as an effective measure to identify talented and well-prepared youth.

These days, Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages once again united high school pupils of the country on one competition platform, becoming the venue for the III Russian language Olympiad among the 11-12 grades pupils of the secondary schools of Turkmenistan.

The Olympiad was held in two rounds. Within the framework of the first round, pupils competed in essay writing. The authors of the best works – 25 pupils from all over the country – have become participants of the second round of the Olympiad. They were invited to visit Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages where a cultural programme and, of course, an impressive package of the tasks for the second round, which included questions from all sections of the Russian language, were prepared for them. The results of the competition were announced during a festive ceremony which was also timed to the Russian Language Week held at the institute. The first place was awarded to the pupil from Mary secondary school No. 15, Mary velayat, Aylar Ataeva, the second place was awarded to the pupil of Ashgabat secondary school No. 6 Sofia Pozdnyakova and a pupil of Ashgabat secondary specialized school No. 27 Zuhra Ellieva. The third place was awarded to the pupil of the Ak Bugday etrap secondary school No. 1, Ahal velayat, Aylar Nuriyeva, a pupil of Arkadag city secondary specialized school No. 3 Selbi Shamanova and a pupil of Ashgabat secondary school No. 69 Enejan Agamuradova. The winners and participants of the final round of the Olympiad were awarded the corresponding diplomas and certificates, as well as special memorable gifts from Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.

The participants of the celebration expressed their sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Esteemed President Serdar​ Berdimuhamedov for creating broad opportunities for the development of the national education system. They wished the Esteemed Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, long life and every success in all their endeavors aimed at the prosperity of our country.
