Turkmenistan’s Delegation Participates in the World Chinese Language Conference 2025 in Beijing

The World Chinese Language Conference 2025, one of the largest international events dedicated to the development of the Chinese language, the strengthening of humanitarian cooperation, and the expansion of educational partnerships, was held in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. The forum, which was held on 14 November, brought together around 2,000 participants from more than 160 countries and regions, including 61 young sinologists from 51 countries.

Turkmenistan was represented by a delegation consisting of the Rector of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi, the Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and a Chinese language lecturer from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

The conference featured plenary sessions, thematic sections, and panel discussions covering a broad range of topics, including:

• modern approaches to teaching Chinese as a foreign language;

• the training and professional development of teaching staff;

• the introduction of innovative digital learning platforms and artificial intelligence technologies;

• the renewal of teaching materials and the improvement of educational quality;

• the expansion of academic exchanges between universities in China and other countries;

• the prospects for international language programs and cultural cooperation.

During the specialized exhibition, participants were introduced to advanced educational solutions, including electronic learning complexes, VR/AR technologies, interactive resources, and platforms based on artificial intelligence.

The participation of Turkmenistan’s delegation in the World Chinese Language Conference 2025 is of great importance for the further development of the national education system and the deepening of humanitarian ties with the People’s Republic of China. The forum served as an effective platform for establishing and expanding cooperation with leading Chinese universities and specialized centers, as well as for familiarizing with advanced methods of teaching the Chinese language and modern digital educational solutions.
