The large-scale event was organized to celebrate the Institute being honored with the Honorary Diploma from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, in recognition of many years of productive work and a substantial contribution to strengthening friendly bilateral relations.

As the result of the great initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, and the far-sighted foreign policy of our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our prosperous state is consistently developing cooperation with Japan, one of the leading countries in the Asia-Pacific region, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the  “Central Asia and Japan” Dialogue. In particular, the large-scale work being carried out in the field of education, focusing on the in-depth teaching of the Japanese language, the intensification of the exchange of experience among teachers and students, and the building of cultural bridges between young people of both nations, is yielding positive results today. The fact that the Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, a key institution in our country’s higher education system for teaching foreign languages and training language specialists, has received a high honor from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan serves as fitting recognition of the diligent efforts of its faculty and students.

In the speeches delivered during the ceremony, the parties emphasized that the cooperation between the two countries, grounded in the principles of mutual respect, equality and trust, has yielded significant results. They further noted that the Honorary Diploma serves as a meaningful source of inspiration, encouraging the achievements of even greater goals in the future. The cultural programme of the event was particularly rich in content, celebrating the harmony between the two sides.

At the conclusion of the event, it was noted that scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries would be further developed. Furthermore, gratitude was expressed to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for creating all the necessary conditions to ensure that the bonds of friendship between Turkmenistan and Japan endure forever.
